Nephroprotective Activity of Rutin in Diabetic Nephropathy Rat Model Targeting Nitric Oxide Pathway

The research conducted both In vitro and In vivo explored Rutin's impact on diabetic nephropathy, focusing on its effects on Nitric Oxide (NO) pathways in renal endothelial cells and in diabetic rats. In vitro, experiments using HRGECs revealed Rutin's ability to mitigate high glucose-induced cell death and reduced clearance of Bovine Serum Albumin on endothelial cells. Rutin's capacity for nitric oxide scavenging activity demonstrates its potential as an antioxidant.
