    Andrographolide Phytosomal Formulation for Enhanced Cognitive Resilience in Alzheimer?s Disease Model

    Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) is one of the common forms of dementia seen in elderly people. The present study was aimed at developing Andrographolide Phytosomes (AGP) and comparing it with the Andrographolide (AG) on scopolamine-induced Alzheimer’s disease by assessing cognitive function and biochemical markers. The Phytosomes confirmed characterization process FITR, DSC, Zeta potential, % Entrapment Efficiency and Scanning Electron Microscopy. AGP treatment significantly decreased the escape latency (p<0.01**) and improved conditioned avoidance response (p<0.001***) compared to AG.
