In-Vivo Antinociceptive Activity and In-Silico Molecular Docking of Selected Phytoconstituents of Methanolic Extract of Hypericum Japonicum

This research work was carried out to analyse and evaluate the antinociceptive activity of methanolic extract of Hypericum Japonicum (MEHJ) and in-silico molecular docking of selected phytoconstitutents with cyclooxygenase- 2 (COX-2) enzyme along with absorption (A), distribution (D), metabolism (M), excretion (E) and toxicity (T) studies. In-vivo antinociceptive activity was performed by hot plate method, tail immersion method and acetic acid induced writhing response method in rat. In-silico molecular docking was done by using Autodock Vina and Discovery Studio Visualizer. Absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion and toxicity (ADMET) studies were examined by Swiss ADME software.
