  Pharmacological Screening of Anti-inflammatory Activity of Flemingia Chappar

  Pharmacological screening of anti-inflammatory activity of ethanolic extract of from the Whole plant Flemingia chappar (Graham) were analysed in this study. Inflammation is a pathophysiological response of mammalian tissues to a variety of hostile agents including infectious organisms, toxic chemical substances, physical injury, or tumor growth leading to local accumulation of plasma fluid and blood cells. The plant from the whole plant of Flemingia chappar 2 main types of anti-inflammatory agents, namely, glucocorticosteroids and Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). These, analgesic agents which lack gasic lision effects are being searched all over the world as alternatives to NSAIDs and SAIDs.
